Crabapple, Adirondack

The Adirondack Crabapple tree is a small, upright grower with excellent disease resistance. It buds in late April and will turn red. It then creates a showy bloom for weeks prior to opening to large, waxy, pure white flowers all along the stems. The nice, dark green foliage all summer turns a colorful orange and reddish just before dropping. It then shows small, tomato soup colored orange-red fruit, which persists into the winter months. This crabapple tree is an excellent selection that requires little if any pruning, is disease free, and well suited for smaller gardens and landscapes.
